Police: Olney Swim Center Deemed Safe Following Bomb Threat Note

Police said there is no threat to public safety at this time after officers responded to the Olney Swim Center for a bomb threat Tuesday morning.

Officers responded at about 10 a.m. after a note was found in a locker room, according to the Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Montgomery County division.

“The building was swept by K9 and has been deemed safe,” police wrote on Twitter. Detectives are investigating on-scene.
