Bullis sophomore Quincy Wilson broke the U.S. high school record in the 400-metter and set the under 18 world record with a time of 44.66 seconds during a heat on opening night at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon Friday. Wilson, 16, broke a world record that had stood for 42 years.
After the race, Wilson told the media, “I’m not running high school anymore. I’m running with the big dogs. I just had to come out and give it my all.”
