An early morning crash Friday involving three vehicles on northbound I270 left two people dead and two more injured. The collision happened before 5 a.m. between Falls Road and Route 28 according Montgomery Fire & Rescue Service (MCFRS) spokesperson Pete Piringer.
According to MCFRS, one car was occupied on fire, one person self-extricated from the car on fire and two others who were trapped in car did not survive.
All northbound lanes were closed for a time near Montgomery Ave (Exit 6).
