Two El Salvadoran citizens were apprehended in Montgomery County after being convicted of sex offenses, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Deportation officers from Enforcement and Removal Operations in Baltimore apprehended both men on April 4.
“The two Salvadoran nationals took up residence in Montgomery County, Maryland, and proceeded to sexually assault two innocent residents,” said ERO Baltimore Field Office Director Lyle Boelens.
One of the offenders has convictions for second-degree rape and illegal entry into the United States. He was removed to El Salvador following his previous conviction. He was apprehended in Rockville.
The second man had convictions for fourth-degree sex offenses and second-degree assault in 2023. He was apprehended in Olney.
