Montgomery Community Media invited candidates for a number of local races, including County Executive, County Council, State’s Attorney and Board of Education to record a short statement for our viewers. Click on any of the races in the Voters’ Guide menu to learn about the candidates and watch their video statements.
The Maryland Gubernatorial Primary Election Day is July 19. Voters may cast their ballot by mail or in person. Completed mail in ballots must be postmarked on or before July 19. Voters may also drop their ballot off at 55 ballot drop boxes located throughout the county by 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 19.
Voters who wish to cast their ballot in person may do so during early voting or on Primary Election Day, July 19. Voters may find their polling place online at the board of elections website here.
Early voting centers will be open from Thursday, July 7 through Thursday, July 14 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. There will be 14 early voting centers located throughout the county.
