2024 General Election Montgomery School Board At-Large


Montgomery County voters will elect three nonpartisan members to the Board of Education this November. The top two vote-getters in the May 14 primary for the at-large, District 2, and District 4 races advanced to the general election.

The Board consists of two at-large members, who can live anywhere in the county, and five district members, who must reside in their respective districts. All voters can vote for one at-large candidate and one each from Districts 2 and 4, regardless of where they live.

Lynne Harris is seeking re-election as the at-large member, with Rita Montoya running against her.

Election Day: Nov. 5
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Early Voting: Oct. 24-31
There will be 14 early voting centers across Montgomery County.
