DMV Preview of the 2024 NFL Draft

The annual hype surrounding the NFL Draft continues to ramp up as the three-day extravaganza April 25-27 approaches.

With the Chicago Bears set to pick first overall, here is a list of all the DMV prospects — including a star defensive player from Quince Orchard — expecting to hear their name called next week in Detroit.

Round projections via CBS’ seven-round mock draft.

First Round

  • Caleb Williams, QB, USC – Born in Washington, D.C. and attended Gonzaga College High School
  • Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State – Born in Waldorf and attended Gonzaga College H.S.
  • Demeioun “Chop” Robinson, DE, Penn State – Born in Gaithersburg and attended Quince Orchard H.S.

Second Round

  • Christian Haynes, OG, UConn – Born in Bowie and attended Bowie H.S.
  • Chris Braswell, DE, Alabama – Born in Baltimore and attended Saint Frances Academy.
  • Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan – Born in Olney and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel H.S.
