Brightly-colored clothing and multiple organizations distributing information about support groups and medical assistance for members of the LGBTQ+ community highlighted Silver Spring’s Pride in the Plaza event Sunday.
Music, speakers, food, drag story hours, drag duels and a pride ball were featured at the third annual event, which was held in Veterans Plaza and Ellsworth Avenue.
