Five adults were injured in a collision involving an SUV and school bus Monday morning in downtown Silver Spring.
It occurred at Fenton Street and Philadelphia Avenue, according to county Fire and Rescue Service Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer. There were no students on the bus.
After the collision, the bus landed about 10 feet off the road in a nearby community garden, and the SUV landed in the median, according to Piringer. The five adults had non-life threatening injuries.
