1. Van Hollen Presses to Intervene for Marylander Deported to El Salvador: Sen. Chris Van Hollen has requested to meet with the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, when he visits the U.S. this week. The Senator hopes to intervene in the case of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia.

2. Driveway Scams: County officials are warning homeowners about a rise in driveway paving scams involving unlicensed contractors. The Office of Consumer Protection has received several recent reports of scammers targeting residents with low-cost paving offers.
3. MCM Goes to Police Training Academy: After completing six months of training at the Police Academy in Gaithersburg, four weeks of additional skill set training followed by 14 weeks on patrol with a senior officer, officers learn how to deal with pressure. Full story here.
4. Wheaton Regional Park Carousel: A new carousel at Wheaton Regional Park operates weekends and during MCPS spring break. Tickets are $4 per ride.
