1. Council President Briefing: Council President Evan Glass will meet with the media today at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the Council’s review of the recommended operating budget and other council business. The briefing will be streamed on the Council’s Facebook page here.
2. Reforest Montgomery Webinar: Montgomery Planning provides an overview of the Reforest Montgomery program during this virtual webinar today from noon to 1 p.m. Registration is required. The program promotes planting trees in the county with free trees and coupons for trees, among other tactics.
3. Budget Discussion: County Executive Marc Elrich will hold the fourth of six community discussions about the Fiscal Year 2025 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) budget from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown.

4. Teacher of the Year: MCPS will announce the Teacher of the Year this evening during the district’s Champions for Children celebration. For the first time since 2019, the awards ceremony takes place in person, this year at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown.

5. Municipal Monday: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council’s work session scheduled for this evening has been canceled. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. The agenda with supporting documents is available online.
