2. Navigating Career Transitions Workshop: Two free virtual workshops will help former federal employees and other workers 50 and older transition to new careers. These sessions provide strategies for networking, job searching, and using current career tools. 3. Capital Budget Community Meeting: County Executive Marc Elrich will host the second of six public meetings on the Fiscal Year 2027 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) budget. Tonight’s meeting: Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Office (4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda) Time: 7 p.m.

The CIP funds long-term projects like school construction, recreation centers, and transportation improvements—separate from the operating budget, which covers yearly expenses.

4. MCDOT Bus Rapid Transit: The Montgomery County Department of Transportation will hold a virtual meeting today at 7 p.m. on the North Bethesda Bus Rapid Transit Study.
