3. Overdose Awareness Day Coming Up: Montgomery County will hold a ceremony of remembrance and a candlelight vigil on Thursday at 7 p.m. to remember those who died from substance abuse. If you have a loved one who died form substance abuse, you can submit photos of the individual for a commemorative display. Today is the last day to submit these photos, using this form.

4. Walk up Food Distribution: Montgomery County is hosting two food distribution events today. From 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., you can stop by Hughes UMC Mid County Hub Food Distributions in Silver Spring; from 2 to 3 p.m., stop by Upcounty Hub Drive-thru Distribution at Germantown Elementary School. 5. ICYMI: The FDA has officially granted full approval to Pfizer-BioNTech’s two dose COVID-19 vaccine.
