1. Greentree Road Bridge: At 7 p.m. the county transportation department will hold a virtual public meeting on a proposed replacement of the Greentree Road Bridge over Bulls Run in Bethesda.

2. Police Seek Tips: Detectives are seeking public assistance to identify suspects involved in vandalism and theft from 21 vehicles in the Silver Spring area. The incidents all occurred early Monday, Dec. 2, on Belvedere Boulevard, Woodland Road, Dameron Drive, Forest Grove Drive, and Forest Glen Road.

3. Council Meeting: The county council will meet today starting at 9 a.m. with separate proclamations recognizing Bethesda Urban Partnership’s 30th Anniversary and Terry Seamens’ Retirement. The meeting will be livestreamed here.

5. ICYMI: On the third floor of the Silver Spring library that bears his name, Brigadier General Charles McGee was honored posthumously with a memorial honoring his military service as well as his work to mentor young people and reduce barriers.
