Today is Friday, Feb. 11 and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.
1. Montgomery County on Jeopardy: Two MCPS graduates are competing in this week’s Jeopardy! National College Championship. On Tuesday, Isaac Applebaum won his first round and is currently a semifinalist. Tonight, Jess Agyepong, competes to advance to the semifinals. Watch tonight’s on ABC at 8 p.m.
2. Acoustics and Ales: Montgomery Parks hosts a series of winter outdoor happy hours with live music, local brews, food truck refreshments, and games for the whole family. Tonight, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. the event will be at the Germantown Town Center Urban Park.

3. Metro News: The tracts between the Grosvenor and Medical Center stations will be shut down for repairs Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 12-13. Shuttle buses will run between the two stations. On Sunday, the bus stops at the Rockville Metro Station relocated during the canopy project will move back to their original locations.
4. Black History Month: The public libraries host archivist Sarah Hedlund in a presentation of the three documented cases of lynching in Montgomery County in the late 1800s. The virtual presentation takes place Saturday at 2 p.m. Find more Black History events here.
5. Super Bowl LVI: Three former Montgomery County high school football players will play in the game Sunday. Who will you root for?
