Montgomery County Council: Council meets at 9:15 a.m. with a proclamation presentation by Councilmembers Kristin Mink, Will Jawando, and Gabe Albornoz, celebrating the Burtonsville Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association. In the afternoon, the Council will hold a lunchtime meeting with directors from Montgomery County’s Regional Services Centers. Also, the Council will appoint 3 Montgomery County Planning Board members and introduce legislation focused on public safety.

2. Council Public Hearings: The Council will hold public hearings at 1:30 p.m. Residents can visit the Council website to learn about the multiple ways to provide testimony.

3. Silver Spring Urban District Advisory Committee: Virtual meeting at 3:30 p.m. Please email: Shawn.Morris@montgomerycountymd.gov for a link to the meeting. The Silver Spring Urban District Advisory Committee(SSUDAC) is comprised of 11 members appointed by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Council.
4. Bethesda Painting Awards: Submission deadline is Feb. 28.
5. Food Distribution: Up County Hub food distribution at Church of Nazarene 8921 Warfield Rd, Gaithersburg from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
