1. Community Conversation: Councilmember Sidney Katz continues his series of virtual conversations about local businesses today at 12:30 p.m. Dr. Scott Royal, President and CEO of Westat in Rockville, joins CM Katz for today’s discussion. Register here.
2. Young Artist Award Virtual Concert: The 19th Annual Young Artist Award concert, presented by the City of Gaithersburg, in partnership with the Kentlands Community Foundation will stream on Vimeo tonight at 7:30 p.m.
3. N95 Masks and Rapid Covid-19 Test Kits: The county is distributing free N95 face masks along with rapid COVID-19 tests at 19 library branches today and Saturday. Residents are limited to four masks per adult and they will be distributed at the same times and locations as rapid test pickup. Locations and hours may be found here.

4. COVID-19 Vaccinations: Montgomery County is offering vaccinations and boosters at numerous sites. Appointments are required and may be made online at the county’s Covid-19 vaccine webpage.

5. Storyteller Janice the Griot: In celebration of Black History Month, Janice the Griot shares interactive tales from the African and African American experience featuring puppets, songs and rhymes. This virtual event takes place Saturday at 10 a.m.
