1. County COVID-19 Testing Clinics: Free COVID-19 testing is available throughout the county at seven testing sites today.
2. Media Briefing: Council President Tom Hucker and Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media briefing today at 11 a.m. to discuss the Covid-19 vaccine rollout and the response from Maryland’s Department of Health, discuss ongoing concerns about vaccinations in nursing and group homes and provide an update on indoor dining in restaurants.
3. Spring Recreation Programs: Registration for spring programs through Montgomery County Recreation opens today. The Spring Guide lists all the programs and explains the registration process using ActiveMontgomery.

4. Municipal Monday: Gaithersburg’s Mayor and Council meet virtually at 7:30 p.m. Here are the agenda and the agenda packet. Rockville’s Mayor and Council meet virtually at 7 p.m., here’s the agenda.
5. Upcoming College Fair: The 13th Annual HBCU College Fair and various workshops will take place virtually on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. On-the-spot admission and scholarship interviews for 12th grade students begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12. This free event provides students in Grades 8–12 an opportunity to meet representatives from more than 60 Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Registration to attend the fair virtually is available online. Registration for admission and scholarship interviews is accomplished through the student’s Naviance account.
