1. Hypothermia Alert: Montgomery County is under a Hypothermia Alert until 10 a.m.

2. Council Committee Meeting: At 10:30 a.m., the county council’s Education/Culture and Public Safety committees will meet to receive a briefing and discuss Community Engagement Officers and the Memorandum of Understanding between Montgomery County Public Schools and Montgomery County Police. It will be livestreamed on YouTube.
3. Renters Meeting: The Montgomery County Renters Alliance will hold a renters town hall at 7 p.m. Register here.

4. Senior Planet: Senior Planet Montgomery continues to offer free Zoom classes to senior residents. Today’s classes include “Food Delivery Apps” and “Getting Started with Zoom.”
5. ICYMI:Â Dr. Monifa McKnight will be the first woman and second person of color to be superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). The MCPS Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday to appoint McKnight to the position.
