1. Firefighter Chris Higgins Remembered: Chris Higgins, the 23-year veteran of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) who died Saturday while fighting a fire, was “a family man” who loved his wife, two children and fellow emergency personnel, said Fire Chief Corey Smedley.

2. Water Use: WSSC Water has lifted the essential-water-use-only request for almost two million customers in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.
