1. Firefighter Chris Higgins Remembered: Chris Higgins, the 23-year veteran of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) who died Saturday while fighting a fire, was “a family man” who loved his wife, two children and fellow emergency personnel, said Fire Chief Corey Smedley.

2. Water Use: WSSC Water has lifted the essential-water-use-only request for almost two million customers in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.
3. Council Meeting: The county council will meet today starting at 9 a.m. with a commemoration celebrating Muslim American Heritage Month. The meeting will be livestreamed here.
4. Zoning Recommendations: There is currently no legislation in front of the county council to act on recommended zoning changes for homes, according to County Council President Kate Stewart.
