1. Storm Impact: There is no school for MCPS students today. Montgomery County government facilities and offices will open at 10 a.m. today. Additional weather delays and closings in the county may be found here.

3. Council: The session starts at 9 a.m. with a Proclamation recognizing Korean American Day by Council President Friedson and the County Executive and a Proclamation recognizing National Mentoring Month by Coucilmember Jawando and the County Executive.

5. Pedestrian Safety Outreach: The MCDOT Pedestrian Safety Team will be at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to promote pedestrian, driving, and bike safety to the residents of Montgomery County. Visit the MCDOT table at the Level 2 mall entrance near Ben and Jerry’s and Kung Fu Tea for free giveaways and learn more about the safety programs.
