1. Drone Program: At 6:30 p.m. at Gaithersburg High School, councilmembers will host a community meeting about the police drone program launching in the upcounty. Police officials will talk about the Drone as First Responder program. Residents can register here or watch virtually on Zoom.

2. Lane Closures: Utility work on River Road (MD 190) will cause single-lane and ramp closures between Wilson Lane and Western Avenue until fall. Residents are told to plan ahead and expect delays. See more information about closures here.

3. Takoma Park City Council: The Takoma Park City Council will not meet today. The council will meet on Monday, July 1, but will not meet next Wednesday, July 3.

4. Food Resources: See food giveaway events today in the county.

5. ICYMI: The annual Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival spanned five days and eight venues from June 15 to Juneteenth last week. The festivities at Cabin John Regional Park lasted all day on Juneteenth.
