1. Last Day to Donate a Prom Dress: Today is the last day to donate to “Praisner’s Project Prom Dress” giveaway. Montgomery County Recreation is collecting gently used/new dresses, suits and accessories that students will be able to choose from during an event in one month on Saturday, April 15. Items can be donated at Marilyn Praisner Community Recreation Center at 14906 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville.

2. Greater Seneca Transit Network: At 6 p.m., the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold an online community meeting about the Great Seneca Transit Network, which is a new Ride On extra bus service around the Shady Grove Medical Center, Rio and adjacent areas, according to MCDOT. Registration is required.
3. Food Resources: See food giveaway events today in Montgomery County.
4. Nutrition Month: March is National Nutrition Month. Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) offers tips for eating right on a budget.

5. ICYMI: Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will participate in “Hatchlings: Ready to Hatch,” a statewide program aimed to help expectant and new parents be their child’s first teachers.
