2. Public Safety Meeting: After two recent lockdowns at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, County Councilmember Andrew Friedson will hold a District 1 public safety community meeting from 7-8:30 p.m. at B-CC High School.

3. Council Meeting: The county council will meet today starting at 1 p.m. with separate proclamations recognizing Meghan Jones: Honoring Her Life of Advocacy and Service and Middle Eastern Heritage Month. The meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube @MoCoCouncilMD.
4. Tax Assistance: With Tax Day approaching on April 15, tax credits and filing help will be provided to individuals who fall within certain income brackets and meet certain eligibility requirements.

5. Hundreds Rally at NOAA Headquarters: Hundreds of former National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) employees, former employees and their supporters gathered in front of the federal office’s headquarters in Silver Spring Monday morning to protest what they called illegal firings and unfair dismantling of the organization they love.
