4. Gaithersburg Book Festival: Best-selling author Sara Goodman Confino will present her latest book on Saturday, May 18 at the Gaithersburg Book Festival, where she joins over 130 other authors. Confino teaches high school English and journalism in the county. Her newest novel, “Behind Every Good Man” is expected in August 2024.
5. ICYMI: Last week, officers who have died in the line of duty were honored during an annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Service.
