5 Things to Know Today, May 15, In Montgomery County

1. Summer Recreation and Parks Programs:  Registration for summer programs opens today at 6:30 a.m.

2. Restaurant Week: May is Visit Montgomery’s Discover MoCo Month. This week residents can try a new dish or a local restaurant during the third annual MoCo Eats Week.

3. Council President Briefing: Council President Evan Glass will meet with the media today at 1 p.m. to discuss the Council’s budget deliberations and other council business. The briefing will be streamed on the Council’s Facebook page here.

4. Municipal Monday:  The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council meet at 7:30 p.m. for a regular session. The agenda and agenda packet are available online. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. The agenda with supporting documents is available online.
