1. Council: The Montgomery County Council meets at 9:30 a.m. to take final votes on the County’s $7.1 billion FY25 Operating Budget and the $5.84 billion FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program (CIP).

3. Pedestrian Safety: The MCDOT Pedestrian Safety Team will be at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring from 4 to 8 p.m. to promote pedestrian, driving, and bike safety to the residents of Montgomery County. Visit the MCDOT table at the Level 2 mall entrance near Ben and Jerry’s and Kung Fu Tea for free giveaways and learn more about the safety programs.
