1. Election: Early Voting Centers are open daily from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. now through May 9. There are 14 Early Voting Centers in Montgomery County. MCM invited candidates in six races to record video statements.
2. Landon Azalea Festival: The annual festival, a tradition since 1954, takes place this weekend at The Landon School in Bethesda. The festival raises scholarship funds. Mental Health Awareness: Montgomery Parks and EveryMind will host a mental health awareness event at Germantown Town Center Urban Park on Sunday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event focuses on well-being through fun outdoor activities. Attendees can participate in free classes such as dance yoga and laugh yoga, designed to relieve stress and promote emotional well-being. The park is located at 19840 Century Boulevard in Germantown.
