1.Montgomery County Council: Session starts at 9:00 a.m. with a proclamation recognizing Councilmember for a Day Winner, by Councilmember Rice. Public hearings in the afternoon.

5. Metro: Silver Line Extension opens today. The extension continues the Silver Line from the Wiehle-Reston East station through the new Ashburn station.
