5 Things to Know Today, Nov. 19, In Montgomery County

Today is Friday, Nov. 19 and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.

1. Employee Reporting Deadline:  Montgomery County Public School employees have until 5 p.m. today to report their vaccination status to the school district. As of Monday, Nov. 15, more than 1,700 employees had not reported their status.

2. Deadline to Apply for Business Accelerator Program:  Applications for a new 10-week accelerator program are due today. The program begins on Jan. 11, 2022. Applications may be made online.

County Introduces New Small Business Sustainability Program

3. Vaccinations for Children:  COVID-19 vaccinations for 5-11-year-olds is underway in Montgomery County. Currently, there is a limited vaccine supply and appointments are required. Pharmacies, private physicians and county clinics offer the vaccine.
