2. Wheaton TGIF Encore Concert: Enjoy the final outdoor concert Verny Varela performs Friday at the Marian Fryer Town Plaza, adjacent to the Wheaton Business Triangle and near the Wheaton Metro Station. Happy Hour DJ kicks off the evening at 5 p.m. followed by the live concert at 6 p.m.
3. Artist Studio Tour: The Countryside Artisans is a collective of visual, sculptural, and textile artists working in rural areas of Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick counties. This weekend, 19 studios are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for visitors. Plan a drive through the country, visit studios, and find unique gifts during the Fall Studio Tour.
