5. Dork Diaries Event: Tickets are now available for the Nov. 2 event with the author and illustrator of Dork Diaries at the Gaithersburg Library. The series, created by No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Rachel Renée Russell, follows middle schooler Nikki Maxwell and her friends. Russel’s daughter, Nikki Russell, illustrates the popular series.
