1. Council: Session starting at 9:00 a.m. with three Proclamations: Recognizing Fire Prevention Month by Councilmember Katz with the County Executive, a Proclamation recognizing White Cane Awareness Day by Council President Glass, and a recognition to Stop Bullying Day by Councilmember Sayles.

2. LGBTQ+-Friendly Employer Job Fairs: MC Pride and Allies is partnering with the Office of Student Employment Services at Montgomery College to host three LGBTQ+-Friendly Employer Job Fairs (one at each campus) during October (LGBT History Month).

Today, the fair is at MC Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee St, Rockville, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

3. Financial Seminar: Today on Zoom from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Social Security and Medicare: Attendees learn how to maximize the government programs invested in for their working lifetime. Learn more and find the Zoom link here.
