1. Party to the Polls: For National Vote Early Day, Montgomery College and the League of Women Voters are partnering to host a Party to the Polls event. From 12-3 p.m., a party bus will be coming and going between the college’s Rockville campus and the Executive Office Building, which is an early voting site.

3. Early Voting: Early voting started last week in Maryland, and voters in Silver Spring came out to cast their ballots. 4. Council Meeting: The county council will meet today starting at 9 a.m. with separate proclamations recognizing Veterans Day and the 20th anniversary of MCPD’s Autism and I/DD Unit. The meeting will be livestreamed here.

5. ICYMI: As historic public safety leaders take the helm in the county, a joint swearing-in ceremony was held last week at Wheaton High School.
