1. Council President Briefing: Council President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media briefing today at 11 a.m. The briefing will be streamed on the Council’s Facebook page here.
2. D.C. Sniper Attacks: Twenty years ago today on Oct. 3, 2002 was the deadliest day in the three-week shooting spree by John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo that terrorized the region that left 10 dead and three seriously injured. 4. Municipal Monday: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. Part of the meeting will be held in closed session. The Poolesville Town Commissioners meet tonight at 7 p.m. Here’s the agenda. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. for a regular session. The agenda and information may be found online.
5. School Meals: Recently a group of MCPS students taste-tested vegan recipes which may be added to school menus as early as the spring.
