- Wheaton TGIF Encore Concert: Luis Garay Percussion World performs Friday at the Marian Fryer Town Plaza, adjacent to the Wheaton Business Triangle and near the Wheaton Metro Station. Happy Hour DJ kicks off the evening at 5 p.m. followed by the live concert at 6 p.m.

5. Constitution Day and Citizenship Day: On September 17, 1787, the Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution. Staff members from the Board of Elections will be at the four regional libraries Sunday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to assist in registering individuals to vote, verifying current voter registration, and providing information on how to volunteer to serve as an election worker for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Primary Elections.
