2. Police Explorer Program: The county police department calls on high school students interested in law enforcement to join the Montgomery County Police Explorer program. The first meeting is tonight from 6-8:30 p.m. at 8751 Snouffer School Road. Students are asked to bring at least one parent or guardian.

3. Fall Twilight Concert Series: From 6-7:30 p.m., Montgomery Parks will host an evening of jazz featuring Allen Ambush Jazz Quartet as part of its free Fall Twilight Concert Series at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton.
4. Food Resources: See food giveaway events today in Montgomery County.
5. ICYMI: Restaurants in the county that already offer children’s meals must include at least one healthy choice on their kids menu. Children can still order greasy fries and sugary soda, but they also can choose to feast on fruit, edamame, brown rice, salad, milk and unsweetened juice.
