1. Coffee with Mariela: The County Police Hispanic Community Liason, Mariela León, is hosting another virtual session today from 11 a.m. to noon for residents to discover how the police department can provide support. Registration is required, here.

2. Council President Briefing: Council President Andrew Friedson will hold his weekly media briefing at 12:15 p.m. today. He will discuss the Council’s upcoming vote on a resolution to affirm the County’s commitment to protect reproductive rights. Watch the briefing live on the Council’s Facebook page here.
3. Council Committee Meeting: The Transportation and Environment committee meets today and will receive a briefing from the Department of Transportation on the County’s bus network. The meeting takes place at 1:30 p.m. Watch the meeting streamed live:

4. Fiscal 2026 Community Forum: Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold the first of 11 public forums tonight at 7 p.m. to discuss the fiscal 2026 Operating Budget priorities. Tonight’s forum is at the White Oak Community Recreation Center in Silver Spring.
5. Municipal Monday: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council meet at 7:30 p.m. for a work session focused on the hospitality industry in both Gaithersburg and the County.
