1. Graduation Season: The high school commencement season begins today with Montgomery Blair High School students graduating this morning. The school’s commencement speaker is Washington Wizards Coach David Vanterpool.
2. Takoma Park City Council: At 7:30 p.m., the Takoma Park City Council will have a public meeting in the auditorium at the Takoma Park Community Center. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube, the City Council video webpage, Facebook, or City TV. See the meeting agenda here.
3. Food Drive: The county transportation department and Manna Food Center are hosting the 31st Annual “Give and Ride Food Drive” until Saturday, June 1. Residents can donate non-perishable food items on any county Ride On bus or at designated drop-off sites. Bus riders who donate will have their fare waived.
