An 8-year-old girl sustained injuries Monday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle in Kensington, according to radio transmissions.
At about 3:50 p.m., Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the area of 11226 Woodson Ave., a residential area, for a report of a child struck by a vehicle. The child suffered non-life threatening injuries.
