No one matched all six Powerball numbers drawn Saturday so the jackpot is now worth $1.04 billion — the fourth largest in the game’s 30-year history — for Monday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday were 19-30-37-44-46 and the Powerball was 22. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
Powerball has nine prize tiers ranging from $4 up to the jackpot. There were five tickets sold for Saturday night’s drawing that matched all five winning numbers, but not the Powerball. Those five tickets each won $1 million prizes. Two other tickets matched all five white balls and won $2 million prizes because they purchased the Power Play for an additional $1 per play.
If a player wins the jackpot on Monday night, they will have the choice between an annuitized prize worth an estimated $1.04 billion or a lump sum payment estimated at $478.2 million. Both prize options are before taxes. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Watch the drawings broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and streamed online at Powerball.com. The next drawing takes place Monday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
