A Clarksburg teenager is charged as an adult with attempted murder in connection with a Nov. 16 shooting in Germantown.
Lekota Martin Jr. 16, was arrested Tuesday in connection with his alleged involvement in a shooting in the 20700 block of Crystal Hill Circle. He is accused of shooting into a residence. There were no injuries.
The victims contacted police to report hearing a gunshot and then discovered bullet holes inside their home, according to Montgomery County police.
Martin, Jr. also is alleged to have had a loaded Polymer80 privately manufactured firearm with an extended magazine while inside a public school. That gun was recovered Nov 17.
He was charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, possession of a loaded handgun and other weapons-related charged. He is awaiting a bond hearing.
