The holiday season came a little early for several dozen kids in Gaithersburg on Friday.
200 Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) students were expected for a gift distribution holiday event in Gaithersburg. The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center, a senior community in Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg, hosted the event in partnership with the Gaithersburg Holiday Giving Project, per a release.
“It’s going to make a huge difference,” said Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman. New toys were donated to the center, where they were wrapped up and gifted to kids.
