A large tree fell and damaged a few homes in Takoma Park on Thursday.
Several people were displaced, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
The tree struck three occupied houses on Cedar Avenue, according to Piringer. Firefighters helped two occupants get out, and there were no injuries reported.
