The MCPD’s Hispanic Community Academy hosted the 16th graduation ceremony on Wednesday at the Public Safety Training Academy in Gaithersburg. Twelve Hispanics received their certification after completing 13 weeks of training.
Three sessions of the Hispanic Community Academy are offered each year.
Learn more and register for the academy here. The program is open to any adult who lives or works in Montgomery County, regardless of immigration status. The class will be limited to 40 students and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
