Rockville City Police officers are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that left one man suffering from a single gunshot wound.
According to Rockville Police, the shooting took place at 10:55 p.m. in the 300 block of North Washington Street.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the male victim with a non-life-threatening injury. He was treated at the scene by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel.
The suspect, who fled on foot, was described as an African American male with a dark beard wearing a gray shirt and light-colored pants.
