New York Times best-selling author Joe Posnanski will discuss his book, “Why We Love Baseball,” on Saturday, May 18 at the Gaithersburg Book Festival (GBF). Posnanski, a #1 New York Times best-selling author of seven sports books, has been named National Sportswriter of the Year by five different organizations.
Posnanski’s latest book, “Why We Love Baseball: A History in 50 Moments,” is a countdown of 50 of the most memorable moments in baseball’s history, aiming to reignite readers’ passion for the sport.
Gaithersburg Mayor and GBF creator Jud Ashman shares a brief review of Posnanski’s latest book, “Why We Love Baseball: A History in 50 Moments.”
Posnanski presents at 12:15 p.m. in the Rachel Carson Pavilion and will sign books at 1:15 p.m.
