New York Times best-selling author Angie Kim will present her latest book on Saturday, May 18, at the Gaithersburg Book Festival (GBF), where she joins over 130 other authors. Kim’s debut novel, “Miracle Creek,” won the Edgar Award and was named one of the 100 best mysteries and thrillers of all time by Time.
Kim’s second book, “Happiness Falls,” follows a family as they search for the missing father. His special needs son’s possible knowledge of the event forces them to reevaluate everything, creating a gripping, emotional narrative of familial crisis.
Gaithersburg Mayor and GBF creator Jud Ashman shares a brief review of Kim’s latest book, “Happiness Falls.”
Kim, along with author Melissa Scholes Young, will discuss her book at 4:15 p.m. in the Dashiell Hammett Pavilion. Kim will sign books at 5:15 p.m.
