Help for Hyundai Owners: Police Chief Marcus Jones says 41% of vehicles stolen so far this year in Montgomery County have been Hyundais.Through Saturday, Hyundai owners and lessees are encouraged to bring their cars to Public Safety Headquarters in Gaithersburg to get anti-theft software upgrades for free.

3. Family Movie Night at the Arts Barn: Gaithersburg Arts Barn screens the classic film, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for youth and are available here.

Special Education Resource Fair: Multiple MCPS special education offices, community organizations and government agencies will present information and resources to parents Saturday at Montgomery Blair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to any and all MCPS parents, staff and community members.
5. Community Safety Day: MCDOT hosts the safety day event Saturday to promote driver, bike, and pedestrian safety at the Carver Educational Services Center parking lot in Rockville from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
