Maryland’s first Mega Millions millionaire of the year purchased the winning ticket in Aspen Hill, according to the Maryland Lottery.
Aspen Hills Citgo on Georgia Avenue sold the $1 million winning ticket that was drawn Tuesday.
Also in Maryland, $10,000 winning tickets drawn Tuesday were purchased at Talbert’s Ice & Beverage Service on River Road in Bethesda, and in Ocean City. Winners have 182 days from the drawing to claim their prizes. Maryland Lottery offers instructions on how to claim prizes on its website.
The numbers to match are 19, 37, 40, 63 and 69, according to the Maryland Lottery, and the Mega Ball was 17.
